graphicus, a, um, adj., = γραφικός, of or belonging to painting or drawing, graphic. Lit., only subst.: graphice, ēs, f. (sc. ars), like ἡ γραφική, the art of drawing, Plin. 35, 10, 36, § 77.

— Transf. Picturesque, fine (very rare): eminentes expressiones graphicoteram efficient in aspectu delectationem (Gr. compar. γραφικωτεραν), Vitr. 4, 4.

— Of persons, exquisite, elegant, masterly, notable, skilful: graphicum mortalem Antiphonem! Plaut. Stich. 4, 1, 64; cf. id. Ps. 1, 5, 104; 2, 4, 9: nugator, id. Trin. 4, 2, 91: fur, id. ib. 4, 3, 17: servus, id. Ep. 3, 3, 29.
