    Būbastis, is, f., = Βούβαστις. A town in Egypt, on the Pelusian arm of the Nile, now Tel-Basta (i.e. Hill of Bubastis), in the vicinity of the village Benalhassar, Mel. 1, 9, 9.

    Hence, Būbastītes no-mos, Βουβαστίτης νομός, Strab., Plin. 5, 9, 9, § 49; Mel. 1, 9, 9.
