Achill. 1, 553), = Ἀγαμέμνων, king of Mycenae, son of Atreus and of Aerope, brother of Menelaus, husband of Clytaemnestra, father of Orestes, Iphigenia, and Electra, commander-in-chief of the Grecian forces before Troy, and murdered by his wife, with the aid of Aegisthus, her paramour.
